001/ The Future Bridal: hen white transforms into silver
Final Master Collection
June 2024
The Future Bridal explores the history of women and the wedding
dress, in a future in which both converge in their maximum splendor.
The Future Bridal is an ethnographic project based on a personal story that
traces the history of women and the wedding dress through 4 generations.
It seeks to analyze the story of 3 women until reaching the bride of the
future, in a posthumanist and speculative world.
Four generations, four looks, four stories that combine the haute couture
of wedding dresses and new technologies. My goal is to show that the
future of bridal fashion also includes new techniques such as 3D printing,
wearables, and unusual fabrics to open up new ways of thinking.
